Okay so....I know I never post in here. And that sucks. For me. Because that means I'm breaking a promise I made to myself - and those are the most important kind. I just haven't had anything to write about.....until now.
I just found out the most depressing news.
Joss Whedon dropped out of the Wonderwoman movie.
yeah. i know.
It actually breaks my heart a little bit because i know that he would have stayed true to the comics...and now whoever takes it over won't. And because I miss Joss Whedon like no one's business. I mean Season 8 is coming eventually...but even that's not enough. I really wanted him to do this movie, it has SO much potential. ugh. I'm broken.
You can read all about it here.
I'm going to cry now.

But we will be, very shortly
I really should be reading for Art History. I mean, it's not like I have anything profound to write about. Or anything to write about at all.
I started watching House. I realize I'm late in jumping on that bandwagon, but at least I came around. Now, it can be argued that the show is unrealistic. But it is on television. At least they didn't put it in space. Or a shire.
All of the medical problems that arrive at the doorstep of Dr. House, are real and treatable. I checked. So what makes this show so much better than ER, or Grey's Anatomy? Okay, bad idea. You can't compare three shows like that. They aren't about the same thing. They may all be set in a hospital, but they aren't about the same things. Grey's Anatomy has chosen to focus on the lives of the interns, the relationships that they go through, the surgeries they want, the trials and tribulations that it takes them through to get to where they want to be. And it's entertaining, and funny, and a lot of times ridiculous. But the characters are strong, they don't flip flop between being two different personas, like a lot of television characters do. And they're realistic. I know a few guys like Alex, and more than one girl like Meredith.
Er should just admit that it's run is over. It won't, but it should. ER has always focused on the insanity that is an emergency room. Thus the namesake. The characters are interchangeable through the seasons, it doesn't matter that George Clooney left because now there's a John Stamos, who might as well have kept the characters name. ER is a revolving door, despite the fact that only one person has come out of it with a recognizable career, people still jump at the chance to play doctor whatever on season 97.
House is a different story. It focuses around one person, the asshole who is too smart for his own good and knows it. There are a bunch of other characters, who I'm sure everyone can relate to...that is of course the purpose of a supporting character. But House is honest and blunt...a little crazy....and mean. He's definitly a character. The main complaint I've heard about this show is that they don't just let doctors work like that. You can't have a trial and error on a patient. My response to that is to laugh wholeheartedly at your naivety. Of course House is always going to come up right because it's a TV show, and no one would watch it if he kept killing people. Well....I would. But I doubt many other people would. I watch House because I wish people were that blunt. It would make life easier..and more comical. I watch it because it's funny, and because it's available to rent.
I will continue to watch Grey's Anatomy....I'm not too sure about ER, not that I ever watched it religiously, but it's run it's course...twice. But now I think I'll add House to my fandom list.
There's always room for one more.
Oh and in case Dr. Wilson looks familiar and you can't figure out what from...he was Neil in Dead Poet's Society.

Intermission
I'm fucking terrified right now. No jokes. I'm holed up in my room, every light in the house on, cowering in a corner with a steak knife terrified. This is what happens when you turn 21. I'm never watching television alone in dark house again. Ever.
My house makes weird noises.
Also, I don't know how to work the thermostat so I'm freezing. Apparently telling my parents I would be fine while they went away for a leisurely weekend at the coast was a big fucking lie.
I'm pretty sure I should not sleep with this steak knife, but i'm having trouble putting it down.
My stomach hurts. It might be the bag of marshmallows I had for dinner. Or the brownies I had for lunch.
Steph was supposed to message me back so I didn't go crazy. She didn't.
I got a shiny new belt buckle today. Even that thought didn't make me any less terrified. But I just heard a very weird noise and I didn't like it one bit.
I wonder if anyone has ever been murdered mid-blog.
Okay let's never think that thought again.
I hope my dogs okay. I'm assuming she is. I'd go down and check on her but I'm a bit too busy freaking out.
This is not a fun way to spend a Thursday night.
If I don't get some sleep school is going to be heinous tomorrow.
And I really have to go to class because I haven't been going, and it's important to go.
I'm fucking terrified.

It's only 5 o'clock, and we're not tired yet
Okay......in case anyone has been wondering what's been up.
My computer hates me. No jokes. Right now I'm writing from the university. But yeah, Windows crashed (again). So i had to reformat my computer. Luckily Brett was there to help. But for those of you who don't know......reformatting your computer means everything you ahev on your C drive gets deleted. And although I have a brand spankin' new external harddrive I wasn't even a third of the way done backing up my shit. So that meant that two thirds of everything on my C drive was going to be lost....by this point i was crying on the inside.....then we tried to take my computer apart. Literally. We took my computer apart into several little pieces.....Dell sucks by the way because you can't jsut life off the bottom. So that failed. Then we were going to try an install Windows on a different partition. I didn't know you could ahve partitions on your hard drive...then only excuse i haev for that is that i'm a girl. Cliched or not, that's my excuse. That didn't work either. And Windows wouldn't install on my external hard drive because Windows is a bastard. By this time it's been almost two hours of Brett wracking his brain trying to figure out what the hell to do.
We went on the internet....it's a handy tool.
We found out how to get the hard drive out of the computer, it's seriously more complicated than it sounds i promise. So he took my harddrive and did some computer voodoo, and managed to put my hard drive in his computer so that he could download everything onto my external hard drive, his name is Otto.
So then once everything was on my external hard drive we deleted the little laptop harddrive (Billybob). Then reinstalled windows. WE watched Space Jam too. But now i don't have any of the drivers for my laptop. So we spent another half hour trying to figure out what the hell came with my computer. Then dwonloading the right drivers, because while i'm sure my computer came with a disk....i have no idea where the hell it would be. I'm that organized. so now i have to try and remember what the hell Dave, my moms tech guy from work, did to our computers to allow us onto the internet.
The point of this entire rant is back up your shit. And soemtimes it's a good thing that professors hadn out readings and handouts. Because when your computer crashes and you can't get onto the internet.....life sucks. A lot.
Plus side....now my computer is set up so that if it ever crashes again everythign will be safe. I made a new harddrive partition. Don't ask me how. But i did.
And I finally got the rest of Beth's Christmas present so i don't feel like such a dick.
OH and I turn 21 on Friday. Which I'm not too psyched about, but I will be at Whiskey Jacks all night so everyone should come and sing me kareoke......preferably something from the 80's, and i like when it's offkey. Seriously, it amkes it better.
All fo this has made em decide that I'm not going to class. I have to brave the shitty ass weather and go home and fix my computer because I have to download everythign again. Like antivirus shit....and limewire....and other things to help me steal.
Random thought...what is in the Anarchist's Cookbook? I mean....other than bomb shit. I'm curious.
As for school......my English class is getting better, I like learning about trashy dime novels. Um...My social control class, whcih is starting right now, is.....decent. I wanted to learn about crazy people. That's cool though, the prof is pretty cool. He sounds like donald sutherland. My Roman Civilization class, which i was told would be easy.....isn't. IT's a lot of reading, and all of it's online, needless to say I haven't got a alot done. My Art History class is good, the teacher is a crazy bitch, think Samantha from Sex and ther City if she had Charlotte's job. And she's all over the place, so my notes are insane, but it'll be cool.
Okay i'm done, and going home.
i don't have my Bowie quotes with me.....

There's lots more things to do
I'm pretty much a happy camper. This might have something to do with the Ortiz/Liddell fight coming on soon. Or maybe the fact that I'm housesitting so I have a reason to ditch the family whenever I feel like. Okay, to be perfectly honest it's because I got the best e-mail ever. Three words: I'm not dead.
And while this may seem like a weird e-mail to get, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Then of course I got the other e-mail, the batch e-mail that was sent to everyone. I hate those. If you're going to e-mail me, I like being the only recipient. Thus the three worded e-mail. Happy camper.
As for the whole Christmas thing, I have to admit I was pretty disappointed. I mean, why do I make a list every year if no one gets me anything off of it. This does not include everyone of course. My siblings are awesome when it comes to gifts, probably because they sort of like me sometimes. And my friends are usually on the proverbial ball. The rest of the family however. Disappointed. Is Disney Scene-It really too much to ask for? I mean, I shopped around for it so I could relay the cheapest place to buy it. I did all the freakin' work. But no. I got a calender. That's it. That's all. And yeah, I am acting like a spoiled brat but seriously.
On the upside, I got a sweet popcorn maker. It had come in very very handy.
And a new hard drive. Which is also handy. Go team Spoiled.
Okay I'm done, I'll bitch about the world on online ordering later.
BOWIE!QUOTE: I think it all comes back to being very selfish as an artist. I mean, I really do just write and record what interests me and I do approach the stage shows in much the same way.

Something New.
Okay, the other day someone mentioned to me that I should write a comic blog. As my current blog is aptly named Shoot Your TV ---Read Comics, I figured I should give it a shot. Spoilers will abound.
Let me start out by pointing out that I read comics. This should be obvious, but I mentioned it just in case. The second thing I need to say is that I know nothing about comics. I know what I like, I know which writers make me laugh, I know what kind of art I enjoy. With all of this said I present to you...
The Fanboy Chubby of the Week
This week, I'm looking at Punisher War Journal issue one. Written by Matt Fraction, art by Ariel Olivetti, coloring by Dean White.
This is the first time Punisher is mentioned in the Civil War arc. It takes place right before Civil War issue 5.
For anyone not reading Civil War, I'll sum it up for you as best as I can. The Powers That Be have instituted something called the 'Superhuman Registration Act' which requires anyone and everyone possessing superhuman abilities to register with the government. As you can well imagine, this did not go over well. In fact it split allegiances down the middle. There's the pro side, led by Iron Man. This team includes Reed Richards and the government, other than that, no one really knows. The con team is being led by Captain America. This team has all of my flavour favorites. It's got Wolverine, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Falcon, Black Panther, and the recent addition of Invisible Girl and the Human Torch, the list goes on. Those who don't register and are caught are put in a special prison and kept there until they agree to register. There are battles left and right, leading to the death of some superheroes.
Back to the Punisher, the first thing you have to notice is the cover. And it's flawless. He's holding big guns, he looks pissed, and he's wearing the skull shirt. It's everything you want from Frank Castle.
Now, I've never read any other Punisher comics, so I'm nowhere near an expert. I saw the movie, John Travolta was good. To be honest the only reason I even read this was because Deryk put it in my hand.
The story was a bit confusing, it start out with some guy that I'm sure I'm supposed to know who he is - I don't. And the government asking him to hunt down the Punisher. Flip the page to the Punisher sitting in a van doing recon on a pedophile because he's bored. Then some idiot calling himself Stiltman shows up, Castle kills him, and then the pedophile. The guy I'm supposed to know shows up and sends some S.H.E.I.L.D agents after Castle in the tunnel ( like the Moosejaw tunnels...only presumably authentic). He kicks their asses and takes their guns and goes hunting for the Terrible Tinkerer (Okay seriously who comes up with these names?), he finds him, gets some information and heads out to find Rampage. Rampage is a grown man who makes toys to play with while he pretends he's taking over the world. Nice guy. Rampage gives Castle some gadgetry and he goes all stealthy, waiting for Iron Man to make a move so that he can kick his ass. The gadgetry goes off and he follows the blinking light into the sewers where he finds Spidey getting his ass kicked by two of his former enemies, who are now working for Iron Man. He saves Spidey and takes him to the super secret hiding place of Captain America and the 'resistance'.
A lot happens. A lot happens quickly. And while I was a little intimidated by the plethora (word of the day) of information being thrown at me, I get it. Issue one has to rock so people will buy issue two. On the upside, there were some awesome points about the writing. The majority of the script is in captions. Castle's a quiet guy, so it's nice to have some insight into what he's thinking, even if it's just obscure Gilligan's Island references.
Now onto the art. This isn't classic coloring by any means. There aren't bold colors, everything seems a bit muted (I'm sure there's a word for this somewhere). The art makes everything look more real at times, and other times makes everything look ridiculous, like the size of Castle's arms for example. The facial expressions are dead on, but everything looks shiny. If i have to take issue with anything it would be the sheer size of Frank Castle. I mean, he's HUGE! For a guy that sits in a van all day he's certainly cut. and his arms are roughly the size of Spiderman's entire body.
My verdict. It's a good read. Even if you know nothing about the Punisher other than he likes to shoot things, it's a good read. I had to read it a couple times to take everything in, but I'm weird like that. It left me excited for the next War Journal, which is always a good thing.
The best art: it's a tie. On page twelve, the 5th panel, where Castle is holding his newly acquired guns (and probably flexing), and on page eighteen, the fifth panel, the look on the Terrible Tinkerer's face...priceless.
The worst art: the last page, Captain America....he looks like he's trying to dance to Ludacris or something, it's just not working.
The best line: page 30, when Punisher is carrying Spiderman over his shoulder:
Spidey: Hey, can we stop by an A.T.M.? I don't have any cash on me, so
I can't pay your fare.
Punisher: You don't have to pay me jackass
Spidey: Oh, awesome. Action is MY reward, too.
The Worst Line: There's a lot of bad lines....
end.

SURVEYS ARE FUN
Ten things I Love That Begin With The Letter “I”
1) Ice Cream….that ones a given, but seriously, I’m Ice creams biggest fan.
2) Iron Giant….it’s a great animated film with a kid that creeps the hell out of me…but I love it lots.
3) Image Comics. That’s right I’m cool enough to read comics. Image is home to some of the best things out there, for example, Invincible (which has gone on forvere and still rocks), Cassanova ( according to my go to comic book guy if you aren’t reading this you’re a fucktard…his words, not mine), Fell (which is a Warren Ellis…he’s the greatest), and The Amazing Joy Buzzards…needless to say Image is where it’s at.
4) Speaking of comics Immonen. He’s a comic book artist. And he’s great, AND he’s Canadian. He did the pencils for Nextwave (Another Warren Ellis), and it’s beautiful.
5) I Can’t Decide by the Scissor Sisters….download it..it’s angry disco wonderful
6) I Know I Know I Know by Tegan and Sara because they’re fabulous and the song is adorable.
7) Icarus…as in the greek myth about the cocky kid that didn’t listen to his dad….I love greek myths and my dad likes to remind me about this one far more often then he should…if you can find it download Icarus by Jason Webley
8) Internet. There are no words.
9) The Iliad….We everlasting gods . . .
10) Inferno by Dante Alighieri... Thence we came forth to rebehold the stars.

Mother calls, but we don't hear
I think I might be too picky.
I mean, I know in a lot of ways I'm really picky...but this time I'm talking about guys. Now, I realize that I don't have a lot of room to be picky, I'm not that naive....this isn't where this entry was supposed to go.
I went on a thing tonight. I'm reluctant to call it a date because we just met for coffee after my night class. And I'm not really sure that going for coffee qualifies as a date. I didn't tell anyone because I'm a little superstitious and I didn't want to jinx it. Yes I do believe in jinxing things, I'm that cool.
Before I get into a bit more detail I feel I should explain something. This boy, from my english class, asked me out for a movie. He had passes or something. I said I couldn't because I had the dumb night class that I hate. He said we should meet up later for coffee then. I said yes. I don't know why I said yes. This isn't the boy in the same class that has caught my eye. This is a different boy. We don't have much in common that I know of, other than our mutual love of movies. Or so he professed. He's not ugly, he's not gorgeous either. If I had to describe him, I'd say average. So I'm not really sure why I said yes at all to a boy I don't know, to do something i don't like to do, on a night that I never go out on. (mondays suck.)
So we meet for coffee at some little coffe place. I don't drink coffee, but of course he doesn't know that. We make awkward small talk, the whole...how was class...thing. Then he says he went to see the Prestige. So I figure, okay, now we can talk. So I ask him what he thought about it.
HIs reply: Scarlett JOhanson is really hot.
NOw, I might be wrong, but is that the type of thing you say when at coffee? I didn't think so.
So I said 'yeah, but what did you think of the movie?' this was apparently a very difficult question because he thought about it for a really long time. I really enjoyed this movie, like lots. Not just because David Bowie shows up, but that helped. So i'm expecting to be able to have a fairly decent conversation about it.
His Reply: That Batman guy was good.
That Batman guy refers to Christian Bale. So I was a little put off by that, I mean this kid said he was sort of a movie buff. I don't even call myself a movie buff....but I can remember Christian Bale's name. So i agreed again, yeah Christian Bale is an awesome actor, I like most of his stuff.
His reply: Well other than Batman he hasn't been in much of anything.
I think that's where he lost me.
Christian Bale was in American Psycho. Christian Bale was in Equilibrium. Christian Bale was in the Machinist. He was in Newsies, and Swing Kids, and Little Women....The guy was in Shaft for fuck's sake.
So i decided to stop talking about movies. We moved onto music. I don't know very much about music, I know what I like and that's about it. I can tell you about maybe four or five artists that I'm a huge fan of, and other than that I let Beth be the music buff.
What I do know, is that Fallout Boy is not punk. I know that Justin Timberlake isn't hiphop. And I know that if you like Nickleback you're pretty much guaranteed to like Theory of a Deadman and Hinder.
So here's my question: Am I being too picky? I mean, is his lack of movie knowledge enough to make him that unattractive?
le sigh
BOWIE!QUOTE: I never could get over the fact that The Pixies formed, worked and separated without America taking them to its heart or even recognizing their existence for the most part.

He gets in the way but we always let him play with us
Apparently I was wrong. It's not a poem. It's lyrics from a song called Citizens of Tomorrow by Tokyo Police Club. My only brother corrected me. Which is greatly appreciated. As for the song, it's pretty sweet. If you're into Geek!Rock. Which I really, really am. But you knew that. Or I should hope you knew that.
Sometimes I wonder who I'm writing to. Then I think it's dumb so I stop.
It's weird how when you think you're totally over something. Like really over and through it, adn then you're like, oh okay....I get it...It gest easier...that's cool. And then out of NOWHERE, it hits you like a huge fuckin' truck. And it sucks just as much as it used to. And then what?
Then you throw a Disco!PityParty. You're all invited. It's Saturday night in my basement. BYOB. I'll be there drinking alone, it'll be a blast.
BOWIE!QUOTE: To not be modest about it, you'll find that with only a couple of exceptions, most of the musicians that I've worked with have done their best work by far with me.

Tiny Tim sings prayers and hymns, he's so small we don't notice him
I studied my ass of for that test.
I hate university.
I mean, getting a better mark on the test that I didn't study for then the one that i literally spent a solid week studying for is NOT okay. And i know, only a week. But that's a lot for me. Usually I don't study at all.
Midterms suck. Lots.
On an upnote, I found a poem on my desk one day:
I have a microchip
implanted in my heart
so if I try to escape
robots will blow me apart
and my limbs will go flying
and land before the ones i love
who would wail and weep
but the robots would keep them at bay
as i shut my eyes
for the very last time
citizens of tomorrow, be forewarned.
I like it.
The fic journal is up and running. And i have comments! It's pretty nifty.
What else can I write instead of writing a paper...The Dixie Chicks concert owned. Seriously. Now I have a huge girly crush on them too. If girlycrushes were oranges, i would have an orchard. For everyone who wants to go check out the preview for their documentary Shut up and Sing (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0811136/trailers-screenplay-E29606-10-2)I'm super excited to see this movie, i just watched the trailer a stupid amount of times in a row. They rock.
I'm country. I know it.
i'm done.....no bowiequote.....

Jimmy's ill with chicken pox, and Tommy's learned to ride his bike
I hate hardwood.
I really do. It's cold and not as carpet-like...And it's dusty and fucking loud when they put it in. Gives me a goddamn headache.
Also, as much as I love multiple choice exams, I hate teachers that do the whole a and b, a c but not b, all but f....Shit like that. Its annoying.
In other news...Dixie Chicks tonight! That's right, I'm going to the Dixie Chicks concert.
I don't care who you are, everyone loves a country music concert. And those who say differently lie. Country music is fun. And there was actually a study done, and people drink more while listening to country music then any other genre....I don't know if I helped or hindered my point....But I still maintain country concerts are fun. And the Dixie chicks put on a good show, thus, my excitement.
I finally pulled my head out of my ass and saw Slither. And now I'm mad at myself for not seeing it sooner. My total girly crush on Nathan Fillion aside, this movie was SO funny.
I know it's been pegged as a horror-comedy, which is a new bridge for movie genres. But it's not scary. Really gross, yes....Scary? No. It is really gross though. And yeah, it's not going to change your world, and you can probably sit there for hours and point out plot holes. But it was entertaining. For an hour and twenty minutes I was entertained. There are some good fuckin' lines in that movie. And because of Nathan Fillion it's a bit reminiscent of Firefly. Which is an amazing show. That I could probably go on about for hours and hours. (I won't). I can't decide my favorite part of the movie. It kept me laughing so I think people should watch it.
Other than all of that....I finished Veronica Mars Seasons One and Two. For anyone who isn't watching this show, you're a fucking moron. It's pegged as the best show on television by some of my favorite people. It's witty without being overly witty like the Gilmore Girls, it's angsty without being overly angsty like Dawson's Creek, It's serious without being overly melodramatic like the OC, and it's all around awesome. The characters are believable, mostly. The dog fuckin' rules! And the plot is actually thought out. Very rarely do television shows outsmart me, I pride myself on the fact that I know who the killer is on CSI before Grissom, but Veronica Mars outsmarts me very single time.
okay enough fangirling.

Charlie Brown got's half a crown, he's gonna buy a kite
Okay
I write too much fic. That's right. I said it out loud. Someone should give me a pony or something. The problem is that I never post it. I mean other than 'One Day At A Time'. But that was forever ago, and who reads fanfiction.net anymore right? I'll tell ya who....no one. Not even me. So I'm in the process of making a new lj account that specifically for fic. It's becoming problematic. Mostly just because the majority of the fic I write isn't really appropriate. In other words, I'd give it a pretty high rating. And the last thing I'd want is for one of my friends or family members to be bored off their rocks, look up one of my usual screennames and come across a bunch of fic.
I can't see it going well.
So, I'm trying to come up with a new screenname. And it turns out that every single name I think of is taken. It's becoming quite frustrating.
And I'm done for now.
BOWIE!QUOTE:It's true--I am a bisexual. But I can't deny that I've used that fact very well. I suppose it's the best thing that ever happened to me. Fun, too.

There's a special place in the rhubarb fields underneath the leaves
So what has happened since the last post????
I seriously don't even know where to start.
Um....I lost my job at VHQ...well technically i quit without notice. But it was really their fault because they shut down my location without telling anyone. Seriously...three days notice, that HAS to be against some law. Apparently it's not because they gave us the option of a transfer, i still think it's bull. And i got blamed for breaking a shelf which i DIDN'T do! I wasn't even over there....but whatever, i let Scrunchie and the Goblin yell at me for a good 45 minutes. And for the record i could give a shit if you tell 'Mr. Webster', whoever the fuck that is.
Um Blair got me a new job. At the pool concession. Originally i thought it would be at George Ward, apparently i was mistaken and it's at Riversdale.
Yes that's right.....
Riversdale....also known as teh Westside BathHouse....or if you're in a really bad mood you can call it the Indian Ocean like I do.
For the record the longer i work there the more discriminatory i become. Yeah i get called a racist, and a white bitch...and a whole range of differing insults at least 4 times a shift. And you'd think it would be from punk kids....oh no it's not....nope.....it's adults....adn grandparents, and the twelve year old pregnant girls.
Sigh.
Thank God my last day is on Sunday.....
I'm rewatching Buffy which is helping my mood.
I leave for Europe right away which is also pretty exciting other than the fact that our plans are sketchy at best.
I mean, i probably don't have enough money saved up because ever since Beth got a job at HMV all I can think about is buying movies and such....
Um....I'm a huge geek so i catalogued all my movies and comics....i have more of both than i thought i did.
Um..........I helped paint my sisters new house against my better judgement.
I went through the incredibly pinful registration process for school. WHich i DON'T want to go back top, in case anyone forgot. And i didn't get like three of my classes because PAWS sucks ass. (And i say like three because it was really only two and a tutorial, i havent turned that blonde yet).
What else is there.....went to the zoo....went to ruckers...went bowling like four times. bowling rules by the way.
I don't know....i'm tapped.

They don't have the time to learn the ways of you sir, Mr GrownUp
May Long....it was actually a really good long weekend. I'm pretty suprised by that actually. Let's break it down shall we?
WE're goingg to start on Thursday because it was momentus.
THURSDAY: Thursday my mom and my dad and beth and I drove to Regina. We had to get up at some stupid hour, beth was already up but thats besides the point. We dropped my dad off at some sketchy group home, which is different then a foster home in case you were wondering. Then my mom dropped Beht and I off at some mall for like 2 hours while she went to visit my great aunt in the cancer clinic. We had fries for breakfast and then ran amok in Walmart and such. THen we went to Chapters and relived our childhoods...anyone else remember Red is Best??? 'cause i sure do. And some dude gave me a banana coconut cream frappachino....which was very nice of him. Then we went for lunch with my Grandma and THEN we went to the science center...which was really the highlight of the trip. We saw an educational film about Greece. It was awesome. We took a whole lot of pictures.... Then there was the finale night...we watched Will and Grace Series FInale, then the CSI finale...which i could rant for years about because GSR???!!???? SERIOUSLY????? And the ER Finale...once again....a cliffhanger.
FRIDAY: i worked. THEN i went to see Over the Hedge...which i reccomend to anyone ever. Then Steph and i drove around for a while...then beth came with us. driving is one of my fave activities. My brother came home sometime that night....but i don't remember.
SATURDAY: I worked again...all day...without a mid...which totally sucked. But then my brother showed up with some food for me. It was awesome. And Steph came in early. So...yeah it was awesome. When i got home we were having like 30 people over for my Grandmas 80th birthday, which was mostly cool. MY brothers friend Stern came. I tired to warn him about my uncle but it was impossible...so he sat and was lectured by a man that doesn't know shit. And my second cousin Kim was dumb enough to bring her boyfriend. IT was mostly okay tho, it was mellow and there was good food and for ONCE everyone chipped in. THEN my brother and stern adn I went to pick up dave and went to Lydia's for a hip-hop show a friend was putting on. OKya, I'm not the hugest hip hop fan, i mean, i like it but i'm very uncultured in the many frms of hiphop....but even i knew that Leo killed it. We proceeded to have way too much fun and take way too many pictures...especially of the pretty men that went on before Leo.
SUNDAY: I finally got to sleep in which was practically heaven. And when i woke up there was eggs benedict that my dad had made! It was awesome. Then my parents took me and my brother shopping 'cause i really needed new shoes...which i found and they're awesome. I got two new pairs of jeans too...i'm spoiled rotten. Then my brother and i went for a little rip around on his BMX and his new longboard. I am very bad at longboarding in case you couldn't guess. Then i cleaned my room. FAcinating i know.
MONDAY: Monday i picked up my cousin Jessi (http://www.myspace.com/jessir22) from the airport because she's coming to live with us for 53 days, which rocks my socks. She's one of the more normal cousins which helps. We went for lunch with the entire fam at Asian. Then we took her to the campus to show her where her classes are. Who takes summer session i'll never know...
Then i had to go to work because Cory's a dick adn scheduled interviews without letting us know in advance...i'm mad at him right now...but i'm in a good mood so we're not dwelling. Then we barbequed....went to DQ....stopped by Franks....and then watched SAVED! adn then some Shalom in the Home....that shows Crazy.
All in all my weeekend rocked. When i put it all down it doesn't seem like much but....i dig it.
BOWIEQUOTE! God thinks he's all that and a bag of chips
